"We've got to get the young'uns into the industry. My son is the only one we know, the only young one in this whole harbour. It's hard for them... you've got to have all your medicals and sea survival before you can even try it these days, you can't get any experience without all the courses, but they don't want to do the courses before they've tried it. I was at sea when I was 5 years old. The lads my age, they're thinking of selling up so there's no one left to carry on."
