Project development opportunity

National role

The National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE) is recruiting a Project Development Manager to further advance its role nationally.

As part of its team at Newcastle University, the new position will foster existing collaborations and facilitate the development of new projects and funding partnerships to support its research, innovation, and policy-informing work.

Shape medium and long-term development

NICRE director Jeremy Phillipson, Professor of Rural Development at the Centre for Rural Economy at Newcastle University, said: “Through our research and work to catalyse rural innovation with partners, we are contributing to a step change in national rural economy evidence and innovation capabilities and demonstrating the value of working directly with businesses and communities.

“With rural economies increasingly vital to the national agenda, this is an excellent time to get involved in our work and shape NICRE’s medium and long-term development.”
