Overview
This module explores a range of examples and innovations in agri-food transitions to net zero, including themes related to animal science, soil carbon and overall farming systems.
Professor Neil Ward introduces the module with a blog post about the agricultural transition to net zero and is the author of a State of the Art Review about food, farming and land use in the context of a net zero UK.
The case studies include both research and commercial examples which showcase the wide range of solutions working towards net zero agricultural production in the UK, with an international example relating to permanent grasslands. Additional case studies will be included as they become available.
